What would Douglas Adams say about the iPod? This question has probably been asked by ‘pod-toting DNA fans worldwide, misty-eyed as they contemplate the fact that Douglas died the same year the iPod was launched.
I was sitting on the bus with my 3G iPod Nano, listening to the radio version of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, when it struck me that no one will ever speak of the iPod with the clarity and wit that Douglas brought to his Apple-based musings. This makes me sad.
